Why Alpaca?

For years, we studied how Royal Alpaca survives the extreme shifts of the Altiplano. We realized that if this fiber could keep an animal perfectly regulated through bitter cold and scorching sun, it was the only choice for a man's daily life. We don't just sell underwear; we provide high-altitude engineering for your most sensitive environment.

“The Peruvian Altiplano sits at 4,000 meters above sea level—a high-desert plateau where temperatures swing 30°C between day and night. For millennia, the Royal Alpaca evolved here, developing the world's most sophisticated natural fiber: hollow-core, ultra-fine (<18 microns), and thermally adaptive. While merino wool traps heat and cotton stagnates moisture, Alpaca fiber responds—expanding to cool, contracting to insulate. It's not just soft. It's biological engineering, perfected over 6,000 years.

We work with fourth-generation herders in Puno, Peru, who hand-shear once annually during the dry season. The fiber is sorted by micron count (only the top 8% qualifies as "Royal"), then transported to a GOTS-certified mill in Arequipa where it's blended with Peruvian Pima cotton—grown in the Ica Valley using pre-Incan irrigation techniques”
